Canton Subaru Drivers Look For A Handsome Styling In The Subaru Outback
The handsome styling looks great on the road and while negotiating muddy trails. The Car Connection wrote: "The Subaru Outback wears its lifted wagon duds well. We like its tough but simple exterior ... Outside, the Outback looks as though it's a Legacy wagon riding on stilts, although a Legacy wagon doesn't exist. Its styling is simple, with unpainted lower bumpers and rocker panel trim designed to give it a more rugged look."
The Subaru Outback has seating for five passengers. There are six trim levels on offer: 2.5i, 2.5i Premium, 2.5i Limited, 2.5i Touring, 3.6R Limited and 3.6R Touring. All trim levels get Subaru's all-wheel-drive system with X-Mode, which helps provide an outstanding off-road experience. Also standard is hill descent control, which handles the brakes during steep downhill driving.
Powering the 2.5i models is a 2.5-liter four-cylinder Boxer engine that generates 175 horsepower and 174 lb.-ft. of torque. The 3.6R trims are equipped with a 3.6-liter six-cylinder Boxer engine that puts out 256 hp and 247 lb.-ft. of torque. Both the four-banger and the V-6 are joined to a CVT that features steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters.
EPA-estimated fuel economy for the latest Subaru Outback with the base 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine is 25 mpg city/32 mpg highway.* The V6 engine checks in with 20 mpg city/27 mpg highway.
