Why Do I Need
to Get My Brakes Checked?
While drivers are usually
very good about telling when their vehicle may need maintenance, or a
checkup, at our service station, our team is specially trained to
diagnose, and fix, any issues your vehicle may
have.
When Should I Get My Vehicle
Checked?
The general rule of thumb for routine brake
maintenance is every 12-15,000 miles, or 12-15 months. However, you can
also look at your maintenance booklet for further
details.
However, if you begin to hear squealing
sounds, your vehicle starts to pull to the side, you feel shudders while
braking, or if you brake pedal feels spongey, you should schedule time
to come see us. We can take a look and see what the problem
is.
Remember, worn brake pads reduce your ability to
slow your vehicle. This can hinder your driving experience while on the
road, and make it difficult to slow your vehicle when you need to
stop.
